The transfer summer mercato ended at midnight on the 6th of September, with Beerschot clinching a late transfer when Icelandic topscorer Nokkvi Thorisson signed a three year contract. On top of that our club rejected two transfer bids for Ilias Sebaoui, while a decision has been made concerning Mike Vanhamel. Our goalkeeper will stay at the club but will train with the B squad with immerdiate effect.
Beerschot confirm the interest from both KV Mechelen and AA Gent for our young striker Ilias Sebaoui, but both late bids were rejected by our Board of Directors and Unbited World's management team, which means Sebaoui will honour his contract with our club.
