Henri Koide, a 21 year old Swiss striker, has signed a contract for Beerschot until 2025. He played for Neuchâtekl Xamax in the 2nd division in Switzerland, where he was on loan from FC Zürich. He signed for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Koide was a member of the FC Zürich Youth Academy and joined their first team squad in 2020. The striker with Ivory Coast roots played for FC Wil 1900 and Neuchâtel Xalmax, where he scored 8 goals in 27 games, with 4 assists.
"He already was on our list last summer, so we are happy we could clinch the transfer deal now", technical manager Gyorgy Csepregi commented. "He is quick and versatile and fits perfectly in our coach's plans. He is both talented and clever, speaking three languages fluently (German, French and English). So we are sure he will fit in quickly."
