Beerschot are one and a half week into their pre season training and it has been pretty tough physically so far. This week Peter Maes' squad start their friendly games schedule with an away game at Kontich. Our Mannekes will play ten matches in the build up to the new season, with a training camp in Kamen, Germany.
Our first three friendlies are all away from home. On 18th June we will face Kontich (kick off at 7 pm). Five days later we travel to KFC Dessel Sport (kick off at 7 pm), and on 26th June at 6 pm League Champions Club Brugge are our opponents at their Training Centre. That match will be played behind close doors.
Beerschot's training camp in Kamen, Germany starts on Monday 28th June, where we will be playing against SC Verl and Duisburg, two teams from the 3rd Division. Also these games are 'no fans allowed'.
After the training camp we face Waasland Beveren (7th July, kick off at 6 pm) and Lommel SK (10th July, kick off at 5 pm) at the stadium of our good neighbours RVC Hoboken. Ticket information will follow soon.
The highlight of our pre season schedule is on 14th July at 6 pm, with the "Memorial Marc Steenackers" game at our Olympic Stadium. Dutch Eredivisie team FC Utrecht are the opposition.
In the same week Beerschot will play a last friendly match with the opponents still to be confirmed.
