Thibo Baeten signed a three year contract for Beerschot until mid 2026, with an option for an extra season. The 20 year old striker joined on loan from Dutch side NEC Nijmegen during the summer mercato and has so far scored 13 goals (12 in the league and 1 in the FA Cup) in 27 games.
"We are more than satisfied with Thibo's record and involvement", technical manager Gyorgy Csepergi says. "He has made many staps forward and we are sure there is more potential. Keeping him at Beerschot was one of our priorities, so we are more than happy we reached an agreement to change his "on loan" contract into a full contract. So that we can grow further together"
Thibo Baeten is over the moon. "I love it here at Beerschot", he smiles. "I love the atmosphere in and around the club and have a perfect understanding with our supporters, my team mates and everyone else. So I didn't hesitate to grab the opportunity to sign this full contract and am looking forward to the future."
