The opening goal literally and figuratively came out of the blue. Then we gave away the second goal too easily, and you know that makes it difficult. Still, we told each other in the dressing room that it wasn't over yet. The craziest things can happen in the cup, and we've come back from behind many times at the Kiel. Unfortunately, the equaliser came in injury time, leaving too little time to really put the pressure on", the Bulgarian begins.

We have already seen this season that youth teams can play very good football. The coaching staff has analysed their matches and sees that Club NXT has clearly started to play better in recent weeks. We have put ourselves in a position where every match counts, so we have to be 100% in every game to get the points we need."
Edi knows the competition like no other. He has already been promoted to 1A with Union and Westerlo. "We have to be at our best every day. The season is still long and we are taking it one match at a time. After New Year's, you have to put in a good run to really make it big. Now we have to make sure we go into the winter break in the strongest possible position.
