With Vossen’s arrival, Beerschot has brought in an experienced striker who has repeatedly demonstrated his qualities and winning mentality throughout an impressive career.
Jelle Vossen has a wealth of experience at the highest national and international levels. The striker has been crowned Belgian champion no fewer than four times, won the Belgian Cup twice and was champion of the Challenger Pro League once. In addition, he has earned twelve caps for the Belgian national team, scoring twice for the Red Devils. Beerschot’s new number 9 has been known for years as a guaranteed goalscorer. Vossen is a crafty striker who often doesn’t need many chances to make the difference. With his nose for goal, his experience in the penalty area and his leadership, he adds a significant asset to the squad.
Sporting Director Murat Akin is therefore particularly pleased that this transfer has been finalised: “It’s fantastic to add Jelle to our squad.
