Two days after Issa Soumaré's transfer to Le Havre it was Jan Van den Bergh's turn to leave Beerschot. After six seasons our central defender is ready for a new challenge... and found it at NAC Breda in the Dutch Keuken Kampioen Divisie, Holland's second tier.
"Jean" had a handful of options to join other clubs but decided to move to Holland instead of staying in Belgium's Division 1A or 1B.
Beerschot thank Jan Van den Bergh for his relentless effort and contribution over the last six years and wish him every succss in the future.
