Jorre visits the Olympic Stadium
Yesterday Beerschot opened the doors of its Olympic Stadium for Jorre, his family and coaches. Jorre suffers from Perthes disease, a hip joint condition, and is temporarily confined to a wheelchair. His coaches Ivan De Pas en Bart Vanhees recently started the "Cycling for Jorre and Bring a Smile" charity for which they cycled to all Division 1A football grounds to raise awareness and money. They cycled for ten days and rounded their 1000 kilometres trail at Beerschot.
"Be careful, youngsters. The virus came as a shock to me. "
More than a month ago both Tom Pietermaat and his girlfriend tested positive for covid-19. Our midfielder was seriously ill. Listen to his story.
From Saturday 31st October our Olympic Stadium will also be the prestigious decor of an an “Open Air Museum”. On the outside of two of our stands 20 large photos of sporting “Kielenaars” will be on show.

SUPPORT FOR THE DISABLED AND ILL SUPPORTERS
Beerschot will also be working on cancer support for Beerschot supporters this season. The organisation of mentor Pierre de Wispeleir and a range of committed supporters will also be putting their efforts into supporting our disabled supporters this season.
