Michaël Marcou is our new team manager since Tuesday. He takes over from Olivier Dieltjens who was at Beerschot for the last five years in the same capacity. Olivier picks up his old job as food and beverage manager in his father Gunther's restraurants imperium. Beerschot thanks Olivier for his relentless work and professionalism and wishes him well in his new job.
40 year old Michaël Marcou comes over from RWDM, where he was their team manager for the last three seasons. Before that he did the same job at Union SG and the youth academy of the Belgian FA. At Beerschot he will be responsible to help and accompany players and coaches with their administration, helping them with their search for suitable accommodation as well as organising all travel arrangements for the first team squad.
