ANOTHER CONVINCING AWAY WIN

Francs Borains - Beerschot: 1-3

Beerschot recorded his seventh away win of the season after a convincing display against bottom club Francs Borains. Keita and Reyners scored in the first half, Konstantopoulos headed in our third goal after the home team had hit back after the break.

Francs Borains threatened after just two minutes through Lavie but Matijas saved. Beerschot upped the tempo after that warning and made the game one way traffic. The home team were overpowered and Charly Keita opened the score with a well taken goal, beating his defender and putting the ball in the far corner. A well taken and well deserved first goal for our French striker.

Only eight minutes later Reyners doubled our advantage from a nice set up by Cagro and the game looked in the bag. Our Mannekes created a handful of chances but Van Himbeeck and Pauwels were denied by the goalkeeper while Alhassan headed over from a corner. At the other end Matijas saved a shot from Healy.

Francs Borains eventually forced themselves back in the game when a shot from Vandendriessche beat Matijas after an unlucky deflection... but Beerschot's answer came almost immediately when Konstantopoulos headed in from a corner. Three-one the final score.
