Beerschot had extended Marius Noubissi’s contract until June 2022.. Our Cameroon striker signed for Beerschot in 2018 and scored 23 goals in 72 games.
“This is a dream come true” says Noubissi. “I really love Beerschot and the city of Antwerpen. I dare even say I’ve fallen in love here with both club and city. I’d love to stay here even after my playing career.”
Technical manager Sander Van Praet: “We are happy that Marius will be at Beerschot next season as well. He is a powerful striker and dangerous in the box, which is a bonus in modern day football. He is a nice asset to our squad and will be important in the future.”
Chairman Francis Vrancken also rates Noubissi’s ability. “At Beerschot we like to keep our better players. And Marius is the perfect player to invest in. His qualities and commitment are top notch, so this contract extension is logical.”
